My name is Meg McClary and I am the owner of Out of The Box Consulting LLC. I have been working in Early Childhood education for over twenty years. I have a passion for teaching children, especially for the underdog! My own journey through school was a challenge, and therefore I know how a child feels when frustrated with the learning process. I was blessed to be born to parents who were both educators, but not everyone is that lucky. This is where my passion for early intervention advocacy comes into play. Learning outside of the box is a key concept every child should be offered.
I became an Early Childhood Director in 2003, very shortly into my career. In 2010 I became the Director of a program that served both traditional learners and children with learning differences and delays. I knew instantly this was my true passion. In 2015 I began training teachers which I also realized was my passion. This is why I have taken my two passions and created Outside The Box Educational Consulting LLC. This way I can reach even more children, families and fellow educators along my journey.
I am very passionate about teaching through the hands on, multisensory approach as well as incorporating strength based teaching. Every child has potential to learn and finding what makes them excited and building a connection is key in getting them engaged in the learning process. It is my hope that I can share these techniques with you, the educator, you, the parent, you, the Director or Head of School. I believe we can all grow, learn and expand the way we teach young children!
